Bennington, NH Roofing Contractor

Roofing Services in Bennington, NH

Bennington is a small town on the Contoocook River with a historic mill village at its center. Many homes here are older, with steep roofs, chimneys and outbuildings, and the area’s snowy winters make durable roofing and ice dam prevention a priority.

For more than 25 years, Marquis Roofing has helped New Hampshire homeowners protect their homes. Our crews work across Bennington and the rest of Hillsborough County, and every job begins with a free roof inspection and a written estimate that spells out the work, materials, timeline and price.

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee that includes a lifetime warranty on most of the roofing materials and a 25 year labor warranty. We guarantee you will be happy with the work!

What Bennington Roofs Are Up Against

More snow, colder temperatures and lots of tree cover mean roofs in the western hills age differently than in the cities. Moss, debris and ice dams are common, especially on shaded lots. Standing seam metal is a strong fit here, and for shingle roofs we add ice and water shield and ventilation that keeps the attic cold.

Our services in Bennington include:

Roof replacement with asphalt shingle and metal roofing systems
Vinyl siding installation
Roof repairs, leak repair and storm damage
Metal roofing, including standing seam and metal shingles
Ice dam and roof snow removal in winter

Common Questions From Bennington Homeowners

Do you serve all of Bennington?

Yes. Bennington is part of our regular service area, and we work in the towns around it as well.

Will my Bennington roof replacement need a permit?

It depends on the project. Requirements differ across New Hampshire, so we confirm what Bennington needs for your roof and handle the paperwork as part of the job.

How long will my new roof take?

Most homes in Bennington are finished in one to three days, depending on the size and pitch of the roof, the material and the weather. We give you a start date and an expected timeline in your written estimate.

Is metal roofing worth it in snowy areas?

For many Bennington homeowners, yes. Metal sheds snow, resists ice dams and can last 40 to 70 years. We add snow guards where sliding snow could cause problems and will compare the cost with asphalt shingles during your estimate.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I looked for someone to evaluate our roof because we had developed a few leaks. Heath Marquis came out almost immediately and provided us with information on where he thought the failures might be and the cost for the repairs. He was professional and confident which helped us make our decision to move forward with the work. The work has been completed and we are feeling confident that the leaks have been fixed.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful high quality metal roof was installed by Josh and his crew on our multi roof lined, partial log home!! From Brad, who gave us a quote, to Josh and his crew, it was a professional well executed plan to remove our shingle roof and install a top quality metal roof. The craftsmanship of the installers exceeded our expectations. Our house, a combination of 4 different roof lines, needed a team that could produce tight fitting panels and trim from their workshop in our driveway. We can’t be happier with our decision to go with Marquis Roofing! Kudos to the team and thanks again!!! The picture was prior to completion, but I had to add it because it looks terrific!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Second time using Marquis Roofing. The first time they came over with an unbeatable quote to install my metal roof and this time was to install a snow retention system (snow rails). Once again the pricing was perfect, 2 other companies quoted close to double for this type of job. Quick install and a must have if you have a metal roof.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tom and the team at Marquis are fantastic.
Had our roof done a few years back and the team was on time, professional, worked hard, and made sure all my concerns were addressed.
Fast forward a few years and had an issue with an older part of our roof not done by Marquis, and they still came right out. Heath solved the issue and addressed all of my concerns.

I cannot recommend Marquis highly enough
